"After all this time?"
"Always," said Sherlock. Here have some music as well:

Ok, sorry for the angst-y picture, it's a tad dramatic I know but I started drawing it during my "down-in-the-dumps-time", after reading this ->
[link] and I was hit with inspiration to draw something. So this is a kind of Harry Potter/BBC Sherlock crossover, with Sherlock instead of Severus Snape and John instead of Lily Potter. And I've made my own version of this scene-->
[link], and I've come to realize how fu*ing hard it is to draw dramatic scenes. I mean this one isn't really that dramatic at all, it feels almost calm (+ you have no idea how hard it is to draw a lightning strike, without drawing the actual thunderbolt). I've been thinking for a long time whilst making this if the baby should be named Harry of Hamish. Since I couldn't decide in the end, I only made the "H" on the wall and am now leaving it to the observer to decide for themselves. My thought behind the two names are:
Harry : I think that John would be the kind of person to name his child after a relative, and who better than his sister (Harriet/Harry)? In the story. Harry hates John because he's a wizard (just like Petunia hated Lily because she was a witch), but I still think that John wouldn't hate her for it. It would also be a nice hint to the Harry Potter-books.
Hamish : The only reason that this name is an option is because apparently it's an unspoken rule in the Sherlock-fandom that Sherlock's and John's child would be named Hamish (since it's John's middle name). But in my opinion I think that it would feel wrong in a way to name the baby Hamish in this version because it's not John's
and Sherlock's child.
Anyway, I am now so sick and tired of looking at this picture, and I'm only seeing faults with it (so if you see anything you think look wrong....believe me...it has already occurred to me), but if I change anything now I will ruin it entirely.
(One last thing, so sorry for the title,,,,,I'm sure that this is one of 10 thousand pictures with that title on devaint, but I really, really suck at titles...)

This picture is epic, in a very, very sad way.
But it's so beautiful, AND UPSETTING!
OH.
OH.
Yes, combine the sadness of both of my favorite characters. More than tragic. You don't just DO this to people, c'mon
